Óscar Fernández: “It’s a pity because the team have put a shift in to play and create chances with ten men”

VCF Mestalla head coach, Óscar Fernández, assessed the late home win in their final fixture of the season at the Antonio Puchades. The game ended in a late 1-2 loss which was heavily affected by the sending off of David Ruíz.
“You have seen it and I hope tell around what you have seen today. They have gone beyond the pale. The team have taken the initiative, shown desire and have created chances being down to ten men.
We have to keep on turning up at any ground, giving your best whenever you’re wearing this badge and we’re going to go to Hospitalet to give the best showing “.
